On a summer Wednesday evening, Asta Bučienė (Ten Kur Gera) invites you into a slow and restorative Baltic sauna ritual inspired by the season’s abundance.
Fragrant herbs, freshly gathered branches, mineral salt, honey, gentle steam, and cool water come together in a ceremony designed to soften the body, quiet the mind, and reconnect you with the rhythms of nature.
ABOUT THE RITUAL
Within the warm cedar sauna, the edges of the outside world begin to dissolve. Breath deepens, the body unwinds, and beyond the windows, the forest keeps its quiet rhythm.
The ritual unfolds in silence, allowing steam, herbs, and the elements themselves to become the guides. Without conversation, the senses naturally awaken – to warmth, scent, touch, and the restorative presence of nature.
Each round of the sauna invites a deeper layer of relaxation.
The first introduces gentle steam, aromatic herbs, and the soft caress of leafy branches.
The second welcomes the cleansing qualities of mineral salt through halotherapy and a nourishing natural body scrub.
The final round brings a traditional birch whisk ritual, followed by a refreshing dip in the pond. The ceremony concludes with warm honey applied to the skin and a period of quiet rest, allowing the experience to gently settle into the body.
This evening is for anyone longing to slow down – to rest, to breathe more deeply, and to surrender to the simplicity of a summer evening in nature.

PREPARATION
We’ll prepare the sauna, herbal teas, and natural body treatments.
Please bring:
__a towel;
__slippers;
__a sauna wrap, swimsuit, or other comfortable sauna attire;
__a bathrobe (optional);
__personal toiletries;
__a hairdryer (optional);
__warm clothing for afterwards.
Places are intentionally limited to 15 participants to preserve the intimacy of the ritual.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Parking is available at the Sanctum entrance, where a member of our team will welcome you and guide you to the sauna.
