    AESTHETICS SOMMELIER

Ieva Rekštytė-Matuliauskė is a journalist, creative strategist, communications specialist, and Creative Director of the Aesthetics Sommelier platform. For more than five years, she has explored the intersections of aesthetics, neuroaesthetics, attention, and the relationship between people and their environments with the curiosity of a journalist – translating these insights into immersive seminars for organisations and diverse audiences.

Through her work, Ieva invites us to reclaim what is so often overlooked in contemporary working life: the senses, living attention, our humanity, physical presence, and aesthetic sensitivity. Qualities that are frequently dismissed as secondary  – or even inconvenient  – in business become essential resources for addressing burnout, strengthening motivation, enhancing performance, cultivating creativity, supporting leadership, and nurturing healthy team cultures.

  • BALTIC SAUNA RITUALS

    BALTIC SAUNA RITUALS

Lukas Sabalas (Baltų Vanta) is a sauna ritual guide devoted to the living traditions of Baltic steam culture.

His rituals draw from ancestral knowledge while remaining deeply rooted in the present moment. Native herbs, fragrant branches, mineral salt, sound, steam, and the elemental presence of fire and water come together in ceremonies that invite a profound return to the senses.

In the sauna, the ordinary quietly falls away. Thoughts soften, time dissolves, and attention shifts from the mind to the body. Heat becomes a language of its own, revealing an experience that cannot be understood through words alone.

Each infusion of steam, every touch of herbs and branches, every breath of aromatic air gradually awakens a more intimate relationship with the natural world. The ritual is not about endurance, but about listening – to the body, to the elements, and to the quiet intelligence that emerges when nothing more is required than simply being present.

Drawing on her background in aviation, she demonstrates how this often-overlooked process can become one of the most effective foundations for mental clarity, sustainable performance, and sound judgement under pressure.

  • CREATIVITY

    CREATIVITY

Justina Vanžodytė is an actress at the Klaipėda Drama Theatre.

Justina’s workshops are an invitation to slow down, shed your everyday roles and return to your true self through your body, emotions, senses and nature. It is a safe space where you don’t have to prove anything or ‘perform well’. Just allow yourself to feel and be. The workshops are based on gentle practices involving the body, voice and imagination, which, where possible, are partly carried out outdoors, in the forest, drawing on nature’s rhythms, silence, sounds and space as a natural part of the process.

Areas of focus: through the body, voice and imagination, participants embark on a deep yet gentle journey into themselves – to the place where tranquillity, the flow of emotions, creativity and inner freedom lie. The most important thing here is the authentic experience of that moment.

The body – releasing tension. Working with the body: throughout these workshops, working with the body helps you reconnect with your true self through slow, mindful movements and relaxation exercises: emotional blockages are eased, long-held tension is released, and a sense of safety within the body is restored. The body becomes a map of inner signals, boundaries and needs.

The voice is an expression of breath and inner states. In this practice, the voice is used not only for speaking or singing, but also for breathing and for natural, unrestrained sound. Through voice practices, participants calm the nervous system, allow the voice to flow effortlessly, and experience how their inner state changes through sound. Often, this leads to a deep emotional release.

Imagination – a return to the inner child. Imagination and creative games help us return to a state free from judgement, where there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ categories, and where we rediscover an element of curiosity and playfulness in our daily lives. It is a process that awakens the inner child, creativity and spontaneity.

Emotional release and connection. Through the workshops, the connection with oneself and others naturally deepens.

    LISTENING TO THE LANDSCAPE

Every environment is alive with sound. Some are obvious, others almost imperceptible – natural, human-made, harmonious, or hidden from ordinary hearing. Together, these sounds form unique soundscapes that reveal the character of a place. Have you ever listened to a forest speak? Or heard the stories carried by a river?

Soundscape Listening is an immersive walk through the surrounding landscape, where sensitive listening equipment allows us to discover the rich acoustic world of forests, meadows, wetlands, and their many inhabitants. As nature’s sounds begin to fill our awareness, we slow down, observe more deeply, and cultivate a more intimate relationship with the living world around us.
