NATURE INTELLIGENCE
Austė Juozapaitytė Gruodė – forest therapy guide, lecturer and facilitator, bringing together the themes of our relationship with nature, biomimicry and regeneration.
Austė’s work brings together two directions – experiencing nature and learning from nature. In forest therapy, nature becomes a space to slow down, return to the senses, restore attention and reconnect with the living world. In her educational work, the focus shifts towards nature itself and its 3.8 billion years of experience – observing how living systems adapt, collaborate, create and endure in ever-changing conditions.
Austė leads talks, learning experiences and experiential programmes for people from a wide range of fields – from educators looking for ways to bring more learning into nature, to architects and other professionals exploring what we can learn from living systems when shaping the systems we create.
Her work brings together two ways of seeing nature: nature as a space where we can slow down, return to our senses, restore attention and reconnect with the living world – and nature as a teacher, offering lessons in adaptation, collaboration, creativity and how to remain in relationship with a constantly changing world.
