SPIRITS OF NATURE – an authentic sauna experience where ancient sauna traditions, the power of nature and the mystique of steam come together. Through heat, water and the touch of plants, a space opens up to slow down, release the tensions of everyday life and reconnect with the energy of life. It is an opportunity to reconnect with nature, listen to your inner self and experience the sauna as a ritual of rejuvenation for both body and spirit.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Valdemaras Salamakinas – a master of sauna rituals who cherishes authentic sauna traditions and creates experiences that blend the elements of nature, water rituals and the human connection with nature. The rituals he leads are more than just a sauna. Through the touch of birch branches, the aromas of plants, warmth, steam and water treatments, a unique experience is created, inviting you to relax, restore harmony between body and mind, recharge your energy and feel close to nature.
Each ritual becomes a journey towards a deeper awareness of the body, inner peace and natural renewal through:
__the touch of birch twigs and herbs
__water and body purification practices
__experiences of the elements of nature and energy renewal
__honey treatments for the skin
PREPARATION
We’ll provide the sauna, special Sanctum teas and birch branches, and natural body scrubs. All you need to bring is:
– a towel, rubber slippers, sauna clothing*, a bathrobe (if you wish)
– toiletries
– warm clothes for after the sauna
*We strongly recommend avoiding synthetic swimwear and swimsuits, and opting for linen or cotton sauna outfits instead.
Places are very limited (we accept up to 15 people)
IMPORTANT: please do not be late; arrive 10–15 minutes before the ritual begins. Please park your car in the Sanctum car park, where members of our team will meet you and escort you to the sauna.
