THE REST LAB

05. 16 10:00 – 16:00

[2 Yoga Practices, Forest Brunch & Time to Unwind]

This retreat is for you if:

__your days ask more of you than they give back;

__you long for moments of true quiet beyond the constant rhythm of modern life;

__you’re curious to understand how your body responds to stress and how to restore balance naturally;

__you value thoughtful experiences where wellbeing, nature, and aesthetics come together.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Modern life rarely asks us to stop. Instead, we learn to adapt – to deadlines, notifications, responsibilities, and the quiet accumulation of tension within the body.

Yet the nervous system remembers what the mind overlooks.

Nature offers more than an escape; it offers a way back. Just as wild animals instinctively release stress after danger has passed, our bodies, too, possess an innate capacity to return to equilibrium – when given the right conditions.

This retreat is an invitation to experience rest as a practice rather than a reward. Throughout the day, you’ll explore how movement, breath, nourishment, and deep relaxation gently regulate the nervous system, allowing calm to become a lasting inner resource.

__Nervous System Lab

Discover the foundations of nervous system regulation through accessible neuroscience and practical techniques. You’ll leave with simple tools to support greater resilience and ease in everyday life.

__Yoga & Somatic Movement

Beginning with gentle awareness and gradually unfolding into a dynamic practice, this session invites the body to soften, strengthen, and release deeply held tension. Through movement, breath, and fascia-focused techniques, space is created for stillness to naturally emerge.

__Forest brunch: flavour therapy

A slow, seasonal meal inspired by the surrounding landscape. More than nourishment, it is a sensory pause – an invitation to savour flavours, textures, aromas, and the quiet beauty of eating in nature.

__Yoga Nidra

Often described as conscious deep rest, Yoga Nidra guides the body into profound relaxation while the mind remains gently aware. In this restorative state, the nervous system settles, allowing both body and mind to replenish.

__Time to simply Be

The day concludes without agenda or expectation. Read beside the forest, wander the woodland paths, or simply sit in silence, noticing how the landscape gradually becomes part of your own inner rhythm.

You will leave feeling not only rested, but more deeply attuned  – to your body, your breath, and the quiet intelligence that already knows how to find balance.
